Email your community related announcements to americanlegion62@gmail.com to reach the entire Texoma Community.  

If your announcement serves a benefit or improves the community quality of life, Post 62, at it's sole discretion, may post your announcement.   Except for emergencies, allow two weeks notice prior to the event date.

Examples of community related announcements are: Special events, fundraisers for your high school, college, church, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, Elks, Moose, Chamber of Commerce, scholarships for the education of your children, youth oriented baseball or other athletic events, etc.

	October 29, 2022 - Halloween Party @ The Post - Costume Contest - $100 prize for Best Costume, Scariest Costume, and Funniest Costume.  Games and Door Prizes!
	November 6, 2022 - Sons of The American Legion Fish Fry fundraiser for SAL Toy Drive
	November 12, 2022 - Veteran's Day Parade - Downtown Denison - please join us at 10am to show your support for our veteran's service and sacrifice
	November 19, 2022 - Pulled Pork BBQ Sandwich and Karaoke Country Hoedown Fundraiser hosted by Chaplains.
	November 24, 2022 - Thanksgiving Pot Luck Dinner - we will have turkey/ham and all the fixins'.  Bring your best dish, or just yourself, and spend the holiday with family and friends
	December 1, 2022 - Christmas Parade - Downtown Denison - come see the floats and welcome Santa!  Visit our hot chocolate booth at Heritage Park.
	December 3, 2022 - Saturday For The Kids Toy Run 2022
	December 17, 2022 - Wreaths Across America - Fairview Cemetery - Join us at 11:00 am for a ceremony to remember our fallen US veterans, honor those who serve, and teach the next generation the value of freedom.  Wreath placement for over 1,000 veterans interred at Fairview to follow immediately after ceremony.
	December 18, 2022 - Post Christmas Party - All organization members are invited to join event hosted by Legion Rider Chapter 62.
	December 31, 2022 - New Year's Eve @ The Post - NO COVER - join us to ring in the new year!  DJ, party favors, champagne toast, and black-eyed peas for good luck in 2023.
